An eternal optimist who sees every glass as half full and every situation ripe with
possibility — that’s Diane Martin in a nutshell.
Her first job was at a radio station and she says it was the best job she’s ever had. In
this one-person office, she began as a secretary but when a new opportunity opened up
she took it. She became a vital link between DJs and advertisers and was soon offered
a job in California. Easy decision for this go-getter. She hired and trained her
replacement, packed her bags, and headed west. It was a dream job but homesickness
eventually brought her home to the East Coast where she went on to raise a family. To
know Diane is to be keenly aware that her two daughters are her world and her four
grandchildren have only made life sweeter.
Diane is a Libra, a huge K-Drama fan, and an avid reader. Her partner is South Korean
and it’s definitely a bucket list goal to travel with him to South Korea to learn more about
the culture and history.
She spent 22 days on a Mediterranean cruise and fell in love with the European
countryside, especially the signature white and blue buildings along the coast of
Greece. She adores traveling, but she’s a homebody at heart. Surrounded by her
favorite people, you might find her bingeing the latest K-drama or in the kitchen cooking
up some favorites like paella, Korean food, spaghetti or scampi — something
(anything!) with lots of garlic.
Always up for a new challenge, Diane decided the time was right to launch her career in
real estate. Now, working alongside her daughter helping her build and grow her
business, Diane is solidly focused on the future, which she knows holds endless
possibilities.
