The dark blue waters surrounding Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge represent what Amie Wiseley calls “the heart of her childhood.” Growing up, she split her time between Bowie and St Michaels and the sight of that bridge still brings tender memories of traveling between the towns to spend time with her family. She grew up there, and she’s raising her family just a short drive away in nearby Montgomery County. It’s home.

As a teen, she developed a passion for windsurfing. When she was little, she dreamed of becoming either an actor, a news reporter, or a textile designer, and later, becoming a windsurfer in Maui. In college, she was a business major who also loved her art and psych classes. She seamlessly blended these talents working in HR, web design, and communications for a while. But it wasn’t until she answered an ad for Speicher Group that she was able to flex all of her skills and pursue her passion for real estate.

Amie loves the fix and flip because she can see the possibilities, whether it’s a sale, a purchase, or an investment property — and that’s something her clients find super valuable.

Exploring more of the country, like Sedona and Santa Fe, and getting back to Europe are on her to-do list. And the perfect Christmas vacation with her whole family is straight out of a Hallmark movie: cozy ski town, hot cocoa by a roaring fire, sleigh rides.

She loves yoga, visiting family out of state, and caring for her family’s hypoallergenic poodle named Eddie. She’s also considering getting back out on the water. Her love of windsurfing waned a little over the years, but it’s recently resurfaced. Makes sense. The water feels like home.
