Carolina Swamp Sauce
In Search Of… this amazing, vinegary, tasty sauce!
Seriously, I’m a freak for this stuff! It used to be I could pick this stuff up at just about any small town grocery store or produce stand. No more! I took it for granted for years and now it’s gone! The story is that the manufacturer was bought out by Harry & David and they removed Carolina Swap Sauce from their inventory. Are they crazy??? Obviously, nobody on their board of directors EVER tasted this product, barbecued chicken with it, or added a jar of this stuff to their chile.
This is a crazy obsession, I know. Somebody out there has GOT to have some stashed away, though.
Please help me on my quest to find a few cases of this wonderful stuff.
P.S. I’d settle for just one jar. The recipe would be even better!
