Rodriguez found the second-highest densely populated location in the Silver Spring area to be the land located west of the Metro station. The area boasted over 24,183 people per square mile. When compared to neighborhoods in the Washington, D.C. area, Silver Spring came out on top in terms of density. Data found that Washington D.C. neighborhoods like Adams Morgan, Shaw, Petworth, Columbia Heights and northern Logan Circle, all had a lower density of people residing in the area, according to silverspring.patch.com.
