Peggy Lyn Speicher, co-founder and Realtor for the Speicher Group of RE/MAX Realty Centre, Inc, was awarded the Greater Olney-Sandy Spring ATHENA Award.
Presented by the Olney Chamber of Commerce and the Brooke Grove Foundation, the ATHENA Award recognizes and honors area women who have dedicated their professional lives to serving the community-at-large.
“This is a tremendous honor from both a community and professional standpoint,” Speicher said. “As community leaders, it’s imperative to show support for what we believe in, and I’m absolutely humbled to be nominated among such strong and prominent women.”
Speicher shared the award nomination with other prominent, community leaders including a a hospice volunteer, a school philanthropist, an award-winning theater director and an avid supporter of a children’s drama program.
