The CJVD’s Santa run operates a little differently than the others,

“Every year Santa and his team of “elves” make their way through the local neighborhoods saying hello to families. As usual, during this time, Santa works in reverse from how he normally does business. Instead of handing out gifts like he does on the night before Christmas, he will be accepting unwrapped toys so that he may wrap them and hand them out to families at local shelters that will be unable to spend Christmas at home in 2015. As usual, any left over donated toys will be forwarded to the DC area’s “Toys for Tots” program.”
