Have you checked out Pike & Rose in North Bethesda on the border of Rockville ?
It’s got all the signs of a place where home values typically increase… a Whole Foods nearby, a Starbucks (for the frappucino effect), and popular new eateries such as the Summer House.Â
According to Johnson Economics, specialty grocers near your home, such as Whole Foods, Â can lead to a home-price growth of 17.5%.Â
Zillow’s CEO Â claims that owning a property a quarter-mile from Starbucks could nearly double your property values if you wait long enough.
More reasons to love Pike & Rose, besides it’s access to the Metro’s Red Line and fun places to eat and shop…
Strathmore has recently opened a more casual music venue in Pike & Rose called AMP,  with acts ranging from indie-rock, alt-country, blues and singer-songwriters to comedians. Apparently their food is pretty good too.

The county even has plans underway to create a separated bike lane for commuters nearby… again adding to this area’s list of features.
